Told as it was in Siang-ki-lin: A Collection of Old Photos of Zhudong (Revised and Expanded Edition)

Based on the original 2000 edition of the old photo collection, this book has been revised and re-edited with images from local collections and the 'Hsinchu Zhudong Nostalgia' social media community. The photos and oral histories cover Zhudong's people, streets, transportation, education, sports, agriculture, forestry, mining, glass, and commercial life. It presents the urbanization process of Zhudong as it transitioned from a Hakka agricultural settlement into an inland industrial town, while preserving collective memories of markets, theaters, railways, irrigation canals, medical care, and cultural activities.
